LOOPMASTERS ARE PROUD TO PRESENT:
DEADMAU5 XFER
Xfer Records is a label started by Deadmau5 and his longtime friend and studio accomplice Steve Duda for their collaborations, such as BSOD, and WTF? with Tommy Lee and DJ Aero.
Their latest CD offering is not a music CD, but rather a sample CD-ROM for music producers, featuring a plethora of WAV loops and one-shots, ready to be loaded in to any popular music-making software.
An extensive amount of gear was used for the CD-including circuit-bent and analogue drum machines, vintage analogue synths such as Moog and Arp, original acoustic drums and other sounds recorded in various professional studios. A variety of digital sound sources were used as well for creating new sounds, such as FFT synthesis, additive/subtractive synthesis, even custom DSP routines coded by Steve Duda in C++.

ZED BIAS: DEADLY DUB CONSTRUCTOR Zed Bias – Deadly Dub Constructor is a fresh sample collection produced in conjunction with Loopmasters that explores the darker edge of Dubstep, Garage, Grime and Urban music production and includes a huge selection of incredible sample kits for producing these types of modern urban music.
Dave Jones is Zed Bias – hailing from deep within the UK dance music scene and causing a stir since the mid-90’s as a globetrotting DJ, pioneering producer, label chief, re-mixer & Jedi master of everything soulful. At times he has variously been known as Maddslinky, Phuturistix and a host of other production and writing aliases. This is not a ruse designed to confuse audiences (or global law enforcement agencies) it is merely a practical necessity to accommodate this mans incredibly prolific output.
As an Artist he gained widespread recognition in 2001 when he was nominated for “Best Garage Act” at the MOBO awards – by way of the single “Neighbourhood” (XL Recordings), which reached number 25 in the UK national charts. After several years hard graft this success opened the floodgates, bringing a publishing deal with EMI and work alongside the biggest artists of that time, including Miss Dynamite and Amy Winehouse. Having already set the blueprint for the darker UK Garage sound in the late 90’s, he also started to infuse a more soulful, even jazzier elements to some tracks and lately has been pioneering the darker Dubstep and Garage flavours to bring you the producer here a new collection of dubs from the dark side!
Within this expertly crafted collection of sounds and samples you will find over 430 wav samples, 140 Loops and 78 Patches ready to play in Kontakt, Halion, EXS, SFZ, NNXT and EXS Samplers.
In detail the Deadly Dub Constructor includes 7 Deadly Dub Construction Kits with 72 Loops (Drums, Bass, SFX, Musical Loops, Atmos), 20 Rudebwoy beats, 20 Steppers Beats, 11 Rudebwoy Music Loops, 15 Steppers Musical Loops, 181 individual drum samples (also supplied in 16 ready to play drum kits), 20 FX Files, 10 Dark Atmospheres, and an exhaustive collection of 60 Bass Tones and hits conveniently also provided as patches ready to play in sampler.
